| Thats just clear this one up. Today I was dueling with my trusty old DaD Reptile deck. Player A summons Caius, The Shadow Monarch. Player B activates TT in response to the summon.
So the chain looks like this;
Caius - TT When the chain resolves the chain looks like this;
TT - Caius
However since Caius effect is a trigger (Meaning speed spell 1) YOU CAN still activate TT however when TT resolves it is banished because Caius doesn't need to be on the field for its effect to resolve.
This would have caused a lot of problems in future duels so its best to clear it up. Just remember EVERY chain resolves backwards.
This is also the case when you activate Bottomless Trap Hole.
Caius doesn't negate the activation of a card or its effect.
